According to GSMArena, this new processor is only for Premium Samsung phones. In this case, Exynos 9810 SoC will appear in Samsung flagships such as Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Besides, a report from South Korea also stated that the 50% of Samsung’s upcoming 2018 smartphones will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The 2018 premium Samsung phones will be the most powerful handsets in the industry. This is because the processor they are going to run on is capable of performing better than iPhone X “twice”. These Samsung flagships are going to have 8 core CPU as part of the hardware. Four of these powerful Cores are third-generation custom cores that can reach 2.9GHz. And the other four are perfectly developed to optimize and deliver the best performance.
In addition, Samsung’s new Exynos chipset is powered 1.2Gbps LTE modem. With the great support of its 6x carrier aggregation (CA) for 1.2Gbps, the phone can hit and reach up to 200 megabits/s (Mbps) uplink. Moreover, the Exynos 9810 comes with new technology that allows it to easily recognize people or items present in any photo it contents. The Chipset also facilitates the face detection thanks to its new 3D hybrid sensor.
The graphics performance is also perfect thanks to its new ARM Mali-G72 GPU. This means that graphics response will be 20% greater than the one in the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Galaxy Note 8. Its Video playback will offer 10-bit HEVC (high-efficiency video coding) with VP9 codecs.
For now, the processor is only official so fans can know that they will be getting very powerful Samsung phones in 2018. The Exynos 9810 chipset will come next week at the CES 2018, Las Vegas – Nevada – USA.
