Google suspends Huawei’s Android license!!!
For those who don’t know, Huawei is actually the world’s second-biggest smartphone manufacturer. That’s not the limit, the Chinese tech giant is also a massive role player in the development of 5G technology. So far, there are a certain number of clients such as Google, Intel, Broadcom, Xilinx, Qualcomm that have stopped doing business with the largest Chinese electronics maker.
However, these giant American companies were forced to do so following an executive order by the President of the United States “Donald J Trump”. In case if you don’t know what this stands for, it means that upcoming Huawei smartphones will come without Google services or any sort of networking hardware.
Regarding current owners of Huawei smartphones, Google confirmed on Twitter the following:
services like Google Play & security from Google Play Protect will keep functioning on your existing Huawei device.
Although Huawei manufactures its own flagship chips “Kirin 980” with the Balong 5000 modem for 5G connectivity. The company still hopes to make business with American equipment for cheaper devices. An analyst revealed that: quoted by Bloomberg, Huawei “is heavily dependent on U.S. semiconductor products and would be seriously crippled without the supply of key U.S. components.”
Manufacturers like Intel provides server chips, Xilinx sells programmable chips for networking and Broadcom is a supplier for switching chips. So if all these companies do not do business with Huawei, then Huawei will fall slowly.

The only way Huawei can survive this battle is to comply or create its own chip. In that case, it can continue manufacturing and operating without the help of the United States. If the Chinese manufacturer fails to do so, then they will have to launch their phones without essential apps. These essential Apps include Maps, Calendar, Gmail, Chrome, and most importantly, Google Play.
