The new innovation is all about Foldable phones now. Bust a great competitor “ZTE” has revealed its new Nubia Alpha foldable smartwatch that you can turn into phone or bracelet.

Finally, ZTE has unveiled the world’s first foldable smartwatch with a 4 inch flexible OLED made together with Visionox.

The new Nubia alpha foldable smartwatch runs on the Snapdragon Wear 2100 chipset. Besides, that chip is supported by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage> with this type of storage, you can store up to 1000 kinds of music and some photos.

The watch itself runs a super customized Operating System and premium features motion gestures. Besides that, you will also find the AIM (Air Interaction Mechanics) technology on the phone.

In terms of battery capacity, ZTE’s made smartwatch is of one of the best. The Nubia smartwatch offers a massive 500mAh battery that lasts a day or two of endurance.

As we mentioned earlier, the ZTE Alpha watch is a phone too. It comes with an eSIM version which has a voice calling and 4G LTE connectivity. The other model is a foldable smartwatch that you can connect or pair to your phone over Bluetooth and to the Internet over Wi-Fi.

The ZTE Nubia Alpha camera has a 5MP (f/2.2) for video calls as well as for taking photos. It is built with stainless steel and coated in heat-resistant polyimide.

There is also the Gold version of the watch which comes with an 18K gold plate. Most importantly, both foldable smartwatches are water resistant.

In conclusion, the nubia Alpha price is €450 for the Bluetooth version. It comes in Black only and will launch in April 2019. The eSIM model is €550, €650 for the Gold version and will launch in China first (in April), then Europe (in Q3) and North America (Q4). The watch comes with its own wireless earbuds “separately” which costs €100.
