Qualcomm Unveilled Snapdragon 845 Chipset For 2018 Flagships

Qualcomm next SoC Snapdragon 845 chipset is the upcoming SoC that many premium smartphones will run on. In fact, it is so powerful that it can even handle a smartphone that offers dual 25MP cameras.

Qualcomm officially unveiled its new chipset Snapdragon 845 SoC this December 2017. This new software will come inside many premium smartphones start from February 2018. Smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2, Nokia 9 will all feature this new advanced processor.

The new SnD 845 SoC chip will run on a 10nm Low Power Early process made by TSMC. As a new chipset, it will be powered by a 3rd gen Kryo cores and supported by Cortex-A75. Those new features will also be paired by four A53 cores for efficiency and smooth performance. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S9 will be 4 times faster the Galaxy S7 Edge and twice faster than the Galaxy S8.

Snapdragon 845 Chipset

Some very good advantages of this new chipset are that there will be a huge improvement in the graphics info. The graphics stabilization will adapt to Adreno 630 which is very advantageous for the AR and VR optimizations. Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 845 Chipset will feature a new X20 modem LTE tech that can deliver theoretical download speeds up to 1.2Gbps. Moreover, we are expecting to see this new SoC launch as soon as next week.
